Hello PBees! (First of all, what do we think of this community name?)
I've seen a few fellow French and francophones alike here, and seen the recent Japanese Fiction Quest, I'm so stoked about expanding the quests and would like to peach you two :)
A collection of books by French authors across periods and genres.
The Eiffel tower, a beret, a baguette, cheese and wine, a marinière, La liberté guidant le peuple,...? So many options, go crazy!
It will be hard to pick I'm sure! Probably books from Zola, Victor Hugo, Simone de Beauvoir, George Sand, ...
An endless list of great books that were written in French!
a Rolling Stone tongue with a French Flag? A wheel of French speaking region flags? The design might be more sensitive, we need the community to brainstorm!
Infinite choices! So long a letter by Mariama Bâ, I who have never known men by Jacqueline Harpman, poems from Léopold Sédar Senghor, Balzac and the little Chinese seamstress by Dai Sijie, L'homme qui lisait des livres by Rachid Benzine,...
I want all your suggestions, I'm craving for more diverse French books!
Would even be more fun if they are released either on the International Francophonie Day on March the 20th or Maybe Bastille Day on July the 14th? Yes, I'm even planning the roadmap now, please excuse me for going too far 🙇♀️
Would love to read your inputs on anything and everything (rules, designs, book suggestions,...)! Thank you for listening to my Tedx show!
