The jump scare of that family tree on the first page just about made me put the book down. I tried for like five minutes to figure it out and decided that it’s too late for that nonsense. After getting past that, I’m happy I chose to read a little tonight. Why is this kind of funny? Four hundred and ten pages to go 🫡
