(yeah writers i know you're on here. me too. dw i won't tell) so i have 1 question for writers and 1 for readers, feel free to answer both. or none! im not your mom!!

writers: what are random, frivolous writing-adjacent stuff you wish somebody would just do for you? e.g. i LOVE moodboards omg i could commission a zillion: one per character, one per plot point, one per SCENE, forget about it. or fake covers?? you could draw it in MS Paint and i would fall down about it. i love when authors have playlists for their books, yes i DO scan that QC code!! ofc I love commissioning art but that takes money. i'm just talking like, what are the small joys of writing your WIP and how do you share creatively in community around that?? book tropes? character slides? google presentations? snippet images??

DIFFERENT QUESTION TO READERSSS!! as someone who enjoys books an abnormal amount, what are some book-related tasks you wish you could OFFLOAD? book recs? discovering new books in the genre you love? finding authors that aren't being introduced to you to support, like indie, debut, marginalized writers? do you care abt reading long vs short reviews? do u like tracking ur books on an app or do u make ur own database on notion, trello, your paper and pen, etc???

i wanna know bc a) as a writer i want cheap fun things to do for times i can't write to keep my WIP top of mind & maybe they'd make fun services to add to my ko-fi shop? and b) as a reader what is it about the books you read that appeals to you and what ways do you engage in reading outside of just you, your reading tool and your text? i wanna intentionally create a cozy community of thoughtful readers, and i know what EYE enjoy, but i wanted to know other peoples thoughts, esp thoughtful readers like YOU 🫵
