Philip K. Dick mention comparing the immensity and magnitude of the city to a Dickian landscape and of course I'm geeking out. I know Bourdain was a voracious reader and passionate writer (clearly a passionate individual overall). I'm down the rabbit hole of slim chances, seeing if he mentioned a favorite PKD novel but am coming up short, though I've found wonderful other recommendations of his from this search. Any huge Tony fans know if he ever mentioned a Dick novel in particular he loved?

As an aside, it's one of my favorite things in learning about an individual to discover the people and places which have inspired them.
