WOOOOOO IBD MENTIONED! I have heard of the hypothesis about how a lack of exposure to pathogens can actually induce inflammatory autoimmune diseases. I know such things can also be heavily influenced by genetics (which is my case for my ulcerative colitis as I have a family history), but it's great to hear this hypothesis being spoken about. Sometimes, we need a bit of dirt!
