damn. just damn. this book was a whole experience. i'm going to be thinking about this for a long time. i feel so lucky to live in a world where Toni Morrison existed. her writing is just exquisite. so raw and sharp and painful. you'd think i'd stay far away from the pain, but i guess i'm a bit of a masochist.
