Hi all!! I know that not everyone is familiar with neopronouns, so I just wanted to offer a bit of a guide for discussing Kobabe in forum posts/reviews :)

Maia Kobabe uses the Spivak pronouns: e/em/eir.

E is used as the subject of a sentence. Example: "I enjoyed the way e wrote about gender in this book."

Em is used as the object pronoun. Ex: "I am proud of em for writing so candidly."

Eir is used as the possessive pronoun. Ex: "This is a guide to using eir pronouns."

Don't overthink it! These neopronouns work the same way grammatically as he/him/his, she/her/hers, or they/them/theirs.
