Hello!

Do any of you have good sci fi recommendations for someone trying to explore the genre more?

I've always liked soft sci fi. But I've recently realised Ive started liking harder sci fi, with more complicated science, politics, world building etc. I recently fell completely in love with Dune, which started this revelation (I still hate star wars though, sorry). I also recently reread project hail mary that I surprisingly loved even more than the first time.

I'm (in a few months!!) a biomedical laboratory scientist, so naturally topics around DNA/scientists/microorganisms are very interesting to me. But things about computers, programming, AI, robots are also topics I really enjoy.

I'm open to any recommendations! Cozy or hard sci fi, horror elements, political, funny, serious, you name it. I really wanna find out what I like so I'm open to exploring. Thanks :)
