Okay I just started this book so these are really brief thoughts.

I love the cat!

And..I feel like my feelings are gonna get hurt.

I also relate to Mio and the way she processes grief. I too went on auto pilot after news of losing a loved one instead of crying first. I did absolutely get to the crying part eventually and it SUCKED, so I'm guessing she might be a late reaction girlie too.
