I tried getting into the Elderlings world a while ago by reading Assassin's Apprentice but I couldn't really get into it at the time and Ship of Magic, based on the thoughts of bookish creators and friends I share interests with, seems more of a good starting point for me. Could I in theory start here, and then go back to the Farseer Trilogy once I am more immersed in the world?
