People who read physical books/ebooks and listen to audiobooks (not at the same time), how do you decide what format you are going to read a book in? Do you have strategies that help you decide? Or do you just go with whatever you're feeling at the moment?

As someone who likes both, I always struggle when picking up a book on choosing what format I should read it in and I'm curious to know what others think and if there's ways I can help make the decision easier
