Hello book people! This is something I thought about 3 minutes ago and decided I would ask about :D

There’s a lot of debate all the time about whether 1st or 3rd person perspective is ‘better’, and I’ve even seen someone say that they refused to read a book if it was in 3rd person.. 🫪 which I honestly think is kinda crazy, but you do you as long as you’re not hurting or insulting anyone, which I unfortunately have also seen happening within this debate lol.

I much prefer 3rd person, and I actually don’t know why, it just reads better for me I guess, and I can better understand the world if it’s not written through the eyes of someone, and that there’s a narrator instead.

So what about you? Do you prefer 1st or 3rd person perspective, and why? 🤔
