Okay, I finished Throne of Glass aaaaand for a book about an assassin competing in a deadly tournament, I expected considerably more murdering and considerably less wandering around the castle.

I really hope it gets better from here because I can REALLY see Celaena’s potential to be an absolute badass. Like girl, PLEASE let her do badass assassin things. 🙏🙏

And I’ve noticed a pattern with Sarah J. Maas now: the plot moves at a leisurely stroll for the first 2/3–3/4 of most of her books and then suddenly hits FULL FUCKING SPRINT at the end.

I read ACOTAR before ToG and IT WAS THE SAME THING with every book. 😄 Like girl, you had hundreds of pages. Why are we saving the entire plot for the season finale???
