Hi guys š¤ my boyfriend is in the process of learning English. Do you have any recommendations for easy (teen) books to learn English in the fantasy/medieval genre? That would be very appreciated! P.S: heās not so much into reading, so something pretty straightforward and fun to read š

One thing i can never understand when things are translated is when titles are changed!! This goes for books and movies... why is this necessary?! I always feel like i'm fighting to find the original title.
For example, I really try to read in Korean, but I also like to see if it's been translated into English. Typically the English translations have way more ratings/reviews so i feel like it gives me a better idea of what i'm getting into. Recently I read Hunger by Choi Jin Young... but the Korean title is literally translated as "Gu's Proof." I was looking at books by Seo Mi Ae last night (thanks to a lovely user here who told me where I can find online Korean ebooks), and i'm trying to figure out which books of hers are on Goodreads (so I can add them here). WELL TURNS OUT she's the author of The Only Child, which I wanted to read! So then I had to go on a hunt to figure out what the Korean title was.. which FINALLY I figured out (it literally translates to "Goodnight Mom").
Anyways why do they do this š„² is there any real reason they need to change the titles?

I really enjoyed this book. As I am not a big fan of fantasy I didnāt know what to expect but it does not have a ton of fantasy elements. A great new telling of a well known fairytale.

Spicy gay book recs please! (With tons of cussing!)
You know why Iām asking š
Editing this for the people who donāt know the lore there was a post about wanting ācleanā , ālow lgbtā books with little to no cussing and I had too post this to combat that. Anyone who saw my comment on the og post knows I donāt actually like spice in my lit (fan fic and š½ fill that particular void) but some of these recommendations sound wildly interesting (I somehow havenāt seen any chuck tingle yet?! But Iām still working though the comments)

I can't believe it's been over a month since I started doing this. I feel like it was just January. I hope the week has been kind to everyone here!
Today's Bookworm Question is: It's Women's History Month! What are your favorite books about women (memoirs or in history). Alternatively, if you're not a big nonfiction/history reader, who are your favorite female characters?

Hi everyone! I read a lot of dark, heavy books and I was thinking that a nice romance with spring vibes (either taking place in the spring or something sweet and heartwearming) could be a great way to break up my reading a bit and celebrate the season.
I was looking through this quests' picks, but I don't read much romance and there are so many options here that I have no idea where to start! Would someone have a recommendation for me?
