bluelemon finished reading and wrote a review...
I'm not saying it was bad but the plot felt a little boring and it didn't have to be so dragged out tbh.

Going in with really high expectation from this book was probably the biggest mistake I must've made (not to mention the constant threats if I didn't end up liking it). I'm surprised that there isn't a single person I know who has rated it less than 3.
The first thing that irritated me was the chapters length. They were SO LONGGG and never seemed to end. It was such a chore going through them and demotivating too like I was dying for it to just end already and finish that part that I have no interest whatsoever in.
The pace was really slow too, barely anything happened. Oh also, did I mention I hate Juliette? If I didn't then I'll say it (just for you PNY), I. Hate. Juliette. She acts like such a spoiled child sometimes and wdym she was literally throwing a tantrum once? Sure you might say she has her 'reasons' for being the way she is but please don't be such an idiot (to her not you).
I also might have unexplainable hatred for Rosalind and Kathleen too (Juliette gets the top spot tho). But the White Flowers side? I LOVEEE Alisa and Marshall. Kinda liked Ben too but he's eh now, Roma is too. Seems like he's only there for the romance but I don't really dislike him so there's that.
Also also Juliette is SOOO annoying. And don't tell me her and Roma were making out literally when their friends were running away from the enemy like what??? No brain cells in there? (Probably not considering the 'enemy'). That first time too, they hadn't even let go of their hatred yet. A person with even a little bit of dignity would NEVER go after a person they clearly hate so fast. I mean give it a little time, settle the hatred atleast even if just a tiny bit. But no, there was no clearance at all.
There were some other stuff that annoyed me too but not mentioning them here because either I forgot them, were too small and useless stuff to be mentioned here or too confusing to explain. I just hope the other books get better because I really don't wanna suffer through them too but I'm gonna read them all (hopefully?).
