I’m listening to the audiobook version of the book and honestly might not be the way to go? Lola Tung stars in the tv series (which I haven’t seen) so I figured she might be a great narrator for the book but I am so so so wrong. She’s not great at narrating AT ALL. You can tell that she’s reading with a smile or a laugh ALL THE TIME when it doesn’t require her to be and frankly it’s made Belly the character twice as annoying as she would have been. The character itself is already annoying but the narration made it significantly worse. I can’t be the only one? But I’m still gonna push through with the audiobook because well I have other things to do >_>

Could resonate so much to the stories of toxic behaviours and leaders. Definitely easy to read and extremely engaging, though the first few chapters were a little slow. Once you get to the main meat of the book, and things start unraveling, definitely hard to put down!

Incredibly reminiscent of Shari Franke's The House of My Mother, which is a non-fiction book about her life as the daughter of Family YouTuber Rubi Franke. A definite must read to understand the dangerous and dark side of influencer life and the children that are affected by it.
