im so happy i read this book now cause otherwise i wouldve gone mad with that ending 🥲 overall i really liked it even though nothing much happens, but i really really liked how their relationship evolved, seeing them finally understanding one another, accepting they love each other and the pace of the story. cried like a baby during ch. 35, 38 and 40-something through 46 😃🤘💔 im dying to read fearless, pleas let kai and pae be endgame OR ELSE

i think lukas is one of my favorite mmcs in the world. god i love him and i cried so much in the last few chapters bc of the things he says 😭 scarlett too i think is one of the fmcs i could relate to more. shes not even near to being perfect and she knows, but tries to amend anything she can. also i love her evolution ❤️‍🩹 PEN ON THE OTHER HAND... yeah, i think theres no other character in the whole wide world i could hate more. shes always in between lukas and scarlett, always bothering, always saying something hurtful, when she was the one to bring the two of them together. also i didnt feel bad for her at the end, dont know if that was ali hazelwoods objective but i couldnt be bothered. like yeah, when shes with scarlett shes the bestest of friends and in the end i liked how it al tied up, but when lukas was involved (or when pen involved him for some reason) she was insufferable god, such a pick me. overall i enjoyed and liked this book very much, and pen is not even a factor for me not giving it 5 stars cause i love when authors write an insufferable character, but the fact that the bdsm part of their relationship (which, to be fair, it was supposed to be all of their relationship in the beginning) wasnt portrayed, like they didnt engaged in a bdsm relationship, was a bit underwhelming.
