I loved the style of writing, if you want to escape reality a little bit, I definetly recommend it.

For starters, I wouldn't read it if you're grieving the loss of a loved one or if you're going through a bad mental health season. (I don't want to put the specific triggers because I see them as spoilers sometimes, so trust me, ok? If you're going through those things, just save it to read later on in life.)

That being said, it was my first time reading a book by a French author, and I really enjoyed her style of writing! I read the translation into Portuguese (my native tongue) and still found the language poetic and beautiful. The characters are very into music, so there are a lot of verses from French songs throughout the book. I confess I was a bit lazy to translate all of them, but it didn't take away from the story. Character development is 10/10, amazing! And the plot is so crazy, I didn't expect that in a million years haha I usually read to escape reality a little bit, but this book felt like it brought me back into reality. It's very emotionally intense and I highly recommend it.

I don't think the biblical arguments are convincing, the arguments are much more based on personal experience.
