This book is mysterious, and kept me guessing what was happening. It is like a cult mystery and you begin to wonder who to trust. I loved numerous elements of this book including the setting, the multiple POVs and the short chapters. For me this author, always creates an immersive setting that I can fully picture myself in, my mind. This book was not my favourite of hers, because at times it was difficult to follow but it all came together in the end, and was still a good read.

There is a made for the movies quest here which made me think of books we wish were movies but are not and so i am curious to hear your picks. Please mention why as well.

I just did this on Instagram with physical books, but I thought it might be fun to see what others can come up with! These are all books I physically own because I wanted to take a picture, but I'd say it counts digitally if a book is one you've read or is on your TBR whether you own the book or not! Here's mine, I regretted the long username a little. I didn't expect it to be so hard to find enough E's lol. (now my goal is to read them all this year, luckily I have a good start). A - Artemis by Andy Weir P - Phantasma by Kaylie Smith R - Reckless by Lauren Roberts I - IT by Stephen King L - Lord of the Rings by JRR Tolkien T - Tress of the Emerald Sea by Brandon Sanderson H - the Hobbit by JRR Tolkien E - Eragon by Christopher Paolini B - the Bone Season by Samantha Shannon O - One Dark Window by Rachel Gillig O - Our Infinite Fates by Laura Steven K - the Kaiju Preservatjon Society by John Scalzi Q - Queen of Shadows by Sarah J Maas U - Us Dark Few by Alexis Patton E - Empire of Storms by Sarah J Maas E - Encyclopedia of Faeries by Heather Fawcett N - Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo

I'll be in the city all week near the port authority/New York times building this week for work. Any good bookshop recommendations, ideally ones that stock special editions or that are unique, ideally independent but not a hard requirement since it's midtown lol

Millionaire meets billionaire - and he won't stop till he gets her. Trope: Age-gap Whilst I enjoyed the drama and timeline of this book, I preferred Mr Masters. They both carry similar themes, and have a similar timeline of events, but both with different tropes. What I do like about this series, is how the characters are all related and featured in each novel. The main characters were both rich and I didn't like his bad guy turned loyal trait (it seemed basic). I think the true stars of this book, go to her two bodyguards - they added a touch of humour and I could clearly imagine their characters.
