This one had a slowish start but it made up for it in the end. Did I spend a lot of time going ew. Absolutely and I loved it. The descriptions are vivid. The writing was cohesive so it didnt feel obviously written by two different people. Sometimes two authors feels clunky, but this did not have that problem.
My only complaint is that the characters felt a little underdeveloped. I have like a vague idea of each but it never felt like it went deeper.
The last chapter definitely pulled me in to wanting to read the next book.

This was a short and impactful read. The writing itself was vivid and you could so clearly picture what he was talking about. Each story he told wove nicely into the next. Above all that, he seemed to truly care about what and who he was writing about. That shone in the work and made it a very good read.
