collecting all 2026 releases featuring sapphic romance!!

my personal wlw library so… a lot of classic lesbian lit, basically

I have no idea what I am doing here exactly. Just prioritising deconstructions/confrontations of the white, Western 'classic' canon for now, however the goalposts/parameters might change!

Not intending this to be exhaustive - there are many lists on Austen, Dickens, The Great Gatsby retellings etc already! Just a few remixes for a range of classics.

I got a request for a list of sapphic fiction/romances with ambiguous covers that wouldn't be flagged by their country's customs and subsequently tossed. Thought I'd post it here, in case it might benefit someone else!

my personalised sapphic master list!!

Some retellings change settings, some change viewpoint characters, others add magic to the mundane world. A list of retellings, prequels and sequels of the novels of Charles Dickens.
