    This book was just magical!

Initially, I wasn't a fan of the book because the first 35% was overly descriptive and drawn out. It definitely could have been condensed because of how repetitive it got. But in saying that, it also helped set the scene into Amira's life and the world around her. That initial slowness did have a lot of world building.

Once you get past that initial 35%, the book is action-packed. It's mysterious. The characters are intriguing and not what they seem.
I could not put it down. It was a page turner, and I needed to know more.

It did end on a cliffhanger, and I'm immediately diving into the next book!
