Recs if you like Kingdom of Ash...

A list of books with corrupt, evil, or just downright bad governments! I'm not sure how I ended up reading so many of these types of books (prob my love for dystopia) but here I am haha. Most of these will prob include taking down said evil government. I will update this list as I read more books with bad govs.

this is the reading order for the Sarah J Maas universe if you want the most emotional damage. if you want to read AB first for TOG series you can. if you want to focus on one series at a time i recommend TOG > ACOTAR > CC so you see the writing progress as you read! happy reading

Angry FMCs

non-lit fic books that made my heart ache from how they perfectly captured some specific aspect of the grieving process in a way that deeply resonated w me (w/out being too depressing to cause actual emotional damage, hence the lack of lit fic)

I primarily get books from the library. These are books I would spend money on to read again.

A super specific reread order to prep for ACOTAR 6 and 7 where Assassin’s Blade novellas are broken up and Empire of Storms and Tower of Dawn are tandem read.
