Fluff to smut, including 18+ etc aka not exclusive to anything specific other than being queer content (queer & queer-rep inclusive stories). I have read a good handful of the ones now at the bottom of the list. Includes intended middle-grade-ish-level youth content to adult audience content.

Manga isn't just for kids! These are titles intended for more mature audiences, including my personal recs and influential, well-known and bestselling titles that are available in English. Whether it's frank discussions of mental illness, abuse, LGBTQIA+ issues, violence, sexuality, horror or dark fantasy, these are manga that either originally ran in seinen (young adult men) or josei (young adult women) magazines, or I've otherwise broadly categorized through research as "not for for kids."

They're here. This is a list of manga about adults in contemporary, non-fantasy settings. BL and GL are included here. SPOILERS: Actually some of them are unemployed as a plot point.

I read so much BL manga on Libby. I thought it might be handy for people to have a list of what I've found. This includes explicit and non-explicit titles, and for series I only put in vol 1. Note that just because it's on Libby doesn't mean any specific library will have it, but you can pick "notify me" to let the library know you are interested, and they may acquire it! This list is only titles that (as far as I know) are from Japan and available in English (does not include manhua or manhwa).

Sept. 25th is National Comic Book Day, and especially in light of recent platform discourse I've seen about graphic novels and manga reading and tracking on Pagebound, we definitely need more great lists for these! This list is all queer titles, recommended by people who work with Duck Prints Press (the indie publisher I run). This list is actually from 2023 so doesn't include recent stuff.

I primarily am only adding first volumes, but these are all series.
