Still really liked this one but was a bit more long-winded than the previous ones in the series, and didn't love the characters as much... Max's way of handling some situations was just frustrating, and no offence to the 'great romance' she has with Leon but a man who calls his partner "bitch" for stopping him from doing sthg that might kill them both, I call that a toxic relationship. Not the first time he's acted in an extreme way, either.

I liked this, but I found the plot was all over the place. Too many things happened that didn't seem connected, or felt like they were part of a different story. I still enjoyed the writing and the fun characters. Our main character had a lot of growth - but at times it felt forced, and with the ever changing plot, it just didn't flow well. Hopefully the next book tightens it up.
