From the big SciFi OGs of Michael Crichton, to horror-esque survival and good old adventure stories. This is my curated list of dinosaur-centric stories that I thoroughly enjoyed. 🏃‍♂️🦖

Books about dinosaurs (fiction/non fiction)

Horror recs about scientists or with good sciency vibes, that aren't all just space horror. Comment suggestions!

Fiction books that feature dinosaurs and other prehistoric animals, and nonfiction books that discuss these amazing creatures and their field of study.

I didn't see a list when I went looking for this, so here's all the dinosaur horror books I could find. Recommendations are welcomed!

Emphasis on "Queer."

Horror that depicts queer relationships and/or has queer main characters.

Includes narratives with queer characters that are not all morally good and may be considered "problematic" at times. A reminder that to be queer does not absolve one of the faults of being human.

Heavy emphasis on character exploration through pleasant to odd to grotesque narratives.

Includes splatterpunk books that are not for the faint of heart.

Includes books I personally do and don't love.

The main character is driven by their desire to find the truth and bring justice. But in their relentless search for answers, they must be careful not to become the prey themselves.
