Cozy and Witchy Fall Romances
This collection of romance books are perfect to read this fall season! Stories full of witches, ghosts, and happily ever afters.

Forearms are sexy
I started keeping a list on my phone every time I caught a character drooling over the love interest's forearms and now I am sharing my findings with the world! I shall continue to conduct this important groundbreaking research for the sake of all mankind . Looking for collaborators! If you find any mentions of sexy forearms in your books, I would love to add it!
Note: Inclusion in this list doesn't mean I loved the book, strangely, some of these books are my lowest rated reads. π€·π»ββοΈ

Why is Adam Driver in my book again?
I have noticed a pattern Adam Driver characters appear in romance novels all the time mostly thinly veiled Reylo ones. If you like this list is also for you but I also hope itβs a place of discussion about this phenomenon . Please correct me if I got a book wrong/ missing one I ALSO WANT TO FIND ONE WHERE HE APPEARS ALONE WITHOUT REY DOES IT EXIST ROMANCE READERS PLEASE TELL ME???? Kylo Ren is haunting the narrative

romance with a splash of whimsy
flying houses, nerdy werewolves, and magical baking shows, oh my!

cozy fantasyπ§Έ

read with your ears
books that were better on audio

Clean and closed door romance

A Book Lover's Romance
AKA: I love you almost as much as I love books
Romances and rom-coms with at least one main character who works in/around/with books (editor, publisher, author, seller, librarian, professor, etc)
Always open to suggestions!

Sweet Hearts, Hot Pages
From sweet & swoony to undeniable heat, these books will have you kicking your feet and blushing at all the right moments. Banter, longing, tension, and MMCs who mean it β prepare for maximum squealing.

romance to die for
romances that involve the afterlife with one, or both, of the MCs being ghosts, spirits, or reapers.
no vampires or dark romance, there's other great lists for those recs!

Soft Male Leads
Some people like their male leads to be alpha chads. I'm not one of them. I like them soft. I like them anxious. I like them doing traditionally female jobs and roles and hobbies.
Mostly romance because that's what I read but other genres present.
Usually just adding the first volume in the series unless they are stand-alones or have distinctly different focus/MCs (most romance series).

I see dead people
In which a main character sees ghosts π»

Paranormal Romance
Book Attic

Romance Books With the Door Firmly Shut
Closed-door/no spice romance books with ALL.THE.FEELS.

B&N Picks
Books that were/are Barnes & Noble Monthly Picks, Books of the year, Hot Coffee Hot Books, or Book Club picks.

It's a Silly Goofy Afterlife πͺ
I can never resist a quirky story about life on the other side. π» Whether itβs a murder mystery, a bubblegum horror, or even a sweet romance, thereβs something irresistible about seeing it all from a ghostβs POV. I love how kooky and creative these versions of the afterlife can be and it makes the fight for a second chance even more engaging. If you loved The Good Place, School Spirits or Dead Boy Detectives, youβll have so much fun with these too!

A Queer Womanβs Favorite Straight Romances
As a sapphic who canβt stand about 90% of MMCs in straight romances, and canβt stand Straight Nonsenseβ’οΈ in general, finding a heterosexual romance book that not only I like, but has me swooning, is rare as heck, so I decided to document the ones that have cleared this high bar. This is an ever-growing list, so be sure to check back periodically if you want recommondations :)
