This is a good story, I think that it could benefit from someone editing and helping with continuity. The story gets lost at points because the ideas aren't continuous or finished within the scene or chapter. The characters are great and the stories and situations are spot on, but a little bit of that gets lost because of those other issues.
Emma is at a loss. She's frustrated at the job that she is doing and she almost just wants to do anything else. She meets Alex and he convinces her to design an expansion for his shop. Emma's parents want her to get married and even go so far as to pick a person for her. Jonathan is a jerk and Emma has some decisions to make regarding continuing a relationship with him and with her parents. She really wants to be with Alex, but there are lots of things to consider.
