This quick little read features the love story of Melanie and Jimmy. Melanie is starting her life over in Las Vegas after her former husband left her and took all of the money that they had. She is distrustful of men in general because of how she was treated. She just wants to get her singing career off of the ground and she literally runs into Jimmy one day. He gives her his business card and tells her to call him. Melanie soon finds out that he is a billionaire and the owner of one of the biggest record labels based in the city. As they start a romantic relationship, Melanie is wary because of the past; Jimmy does what he can to reassure her that everything will be okay. Then her ex decides he's going to use their situation to make his life better - it's a dramatic twist and I don't want to spoil too much, but this book is quick and hard to put down!
