I don’t know what sort of millennial catnip these 2000s YA authors put in these books, but let me tell you, my “baby millennial” self was addicted.

Whether you're born again into the same war, haunted by a love you can't name but somehow recognize, or hunted by something ancient that has been counting the lives between then and now, the past in these novels is not past. ‼️
