This book is a friends to lovers between a firefighter and a paramedic. Tripp and Lee and I liked it.
The characters in this books felt so real and It felt like I  was there with them because the author provided the details about the characters, what  they were feeling and the environment they were in. I also liked how the author  gave us a realistic glimpse of their job and how much stress it entails . I felt like I learned something new. Yeah I really connected with the characters. I also really liked the way their love kinda developed over months , showing that love takes time. But I really wish we got to see how each of them fell in love/ realized they were in love with each other, because since the beginning of the book they both knew they loved the other person. I really like show how the characters admitted that sometimes that making the relationship work was hard and it wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows and the smut in this Was so well written because you could tell that the sights actually did their research on the “scenes” .  it had me blushing and it was deeply intertwined with their emotional state but sometime it did feel like I wanted to focus on the emotional state a little bit more. I can’t tell if I likes the fact that this book was so long or if I hated it.  But all that being said I think this romance was different and just gave a breath of fresh air and I really enjoyed it so you should definitely try it.
