Recs if you like The Wind and the Wild...

Fantasy romance and romantasy with at least one MMC who doesn't fit the Shadow Daddy archetype in one way or another.

I'm talking genuinely kind and caring heroes, nerdy or academic interests, or a body type that isn't tall and jacked. (No climbing these men like trees here!) Only men who are sad wet cats, sweet cinnamon rolls, or pathetic losers allowed 💖

Inspired by buttercheese69's forum post on the topic.

Books that include faeries, whether whimsical or scary

Let me know if you have any recommendations to add to this list!

books that feature an animal (real & fantastical alike) as a side character, companion, or a pet!

Stories to read curled up warm and cosy while the weather is grey and stormy, blustery and bleak. Or. just when you want a fantasy that’s both dark and cozy!

Featuring wildly talented authors who couldn’t stop at writing the book and had to paint the cover too. Honestly unfair, but extremely good for our bookshelves.

Bitches be hoarding talent.

romance that makes u feel safe and nourished and loved. the best kind of romantic love

whimsical, meadowy, fantastical reads inspired by a @notbillnye comment on/description of Nettle by Bex Hogan

you wanna catalogue the books, you say? translate? reeaaaaaadddd? (mundane and magical libraries/archives in fantasy, yum yum yum)

Stirring the pot. Adding some salt. And monching into a beautiful red tomatt. (Books with a tomato theme, in some way, shape or form…and books that have an opinion on Pagebound’s Tomato War)

fantasy stories that centre on healing from trauma, from the past and from inherited cycles

faerie books with soft love interests

Why settle when you can have a monster obsessed with you.

Monster, Mermen, Alien, Entity, Demons, Vampires, Wolf, Orc, ect.

Horror, Fantasy, Romance, and Smut.

Straight & queer

Standalone & series Only first books in series were added because why would you read a second book if you didn't like the first.

Possibly TBR and my finished book. A low cortisol bed time story. Feel free to suggest your books! 🥰

A careful study of fae politics, dark woods, and ancient folklore.

give me recs rn‼️

books with fae going in and being manipulative, conniving fucks + some books where they’re just chilling

Various folk and faerie tales; some dark, some classic, some modern/urban, etc. With romance a a main plot or large subplot
