Yes, we’re judging (and celebrating!) the most creative and interesting book covers released this year. Mostly featuring cool typography, stunning illustrations, and exciting colour palettes. Not limited by genre but sticking with young adult and adult books. (This is an anti AI cover list)

Corporate cruelty explored through Lovecraftian monsters. (Horror elements but not all books are strictly horror.)

Legends, ballets, poems, plays, classics, and everything else that does not fit with fairytales, folklore or mythology.

Every year we get more and more queer books in more and more diverse genres and I for one would like to roll around in all of them from sheer joy 🙂‍↕️ since I can’t do that here is a list to metaphorically roll around in instead.
