Recs if you like Where the Library Hides...

my all time fave duologies that are complete because sometimes a series is too much commitment and a standalone isn’t enough

Duologies. Duologies! A list full of duologies. This has a collection of titles I'm interested in and some recommended to me. To save you the trouble, I made sure to put both books in a duology in this list. Enjoy! 💐

Books that use the language itself as a narrative and literary device, switching from English to Spanish and back again in a variety of ways, from light sprinklings for flavor and atmosphere to requiring the reader to be functionally bilingual to fully understand. Suggestions always welcome!

We love a good duology! Mostly fantasy, with a few sci-fi ones thrown in!

Books with fun archaeological plots, some with romance, all with adventure, clue trails, and puzzles. Think Indiana Jones, National Treasure, Outer Banks

Books where women (sometimes sisters) who are usually living in the early 1900's travel to Egypt and become early archaeologists. Bonus points for: forbidden romances, being chased by theives and coming of age vibes. Critiques of imperialism and pro-repatriation are necessary

Fantasy books with historical time periods or elements!

Books that are about or are set in libraries and bookshops and books about readers

This list is for fiction novels steeped in ancient Egyptian history and/or mythology. It is a work in progress. If you have any recommendations for this list, please provide the titles and authors in the comments, and I will be happy to add them. 😊

sometimes two books is all ya need

Latine authors and the books they've written books.

my low cringe tolerance can't take anymore 1-2 star books. I refuse to get into another reading slump

Books about books, bookstores, libraries, and human nature. All genres and ages

Lets be honest: sometimes we read a book just for the cover. And sometimes it turns out to be a good surprise.

i already have a tbr list of pretty much every book i want to get to sometime soon, but this is my official list as it stands at the moment (hopefully i’ll remember to update it rip). this is in no particular order for the most part.

This is my personal challenge to get through the books my boyfriend bought for me as gifts. Alot of them are not really any I would personally pick out myself and makes me question if he even knows me 😂 but I figured I'd read them before he stops funding my habit. Moral support and feedback on any of these books if you have read them is highly encouraged.
