If Samantha’s Baker’s life were as simple as one of the movies she produces, when she – a latte-loving city girl - gets banished to the country and fights with the local hunk cowboy soon afterwards they’d fall in love. But everyone knows the movies aren’t real life! (And just FYI, Mr Cowboy, it’s not gonna happen!) Travis Hunt knows what it’s like to miss the city. He’s given up everything to take over the family ranch and become mayor of Emerald Creek. He has responsibilities. But how does he convince a gorgeous, hot-shot executive like Samantha to swap her stilettos for cowboy boots and her Friday night cocktails for country dance competitions? Small town life just can’t compete with all the hustle and bustle of New York City. But what if it’s not where you are that you call home… What if it’s who you find while you’re there? An opposites attract, fish-out-of-water rom-com perfect for fans of Sarah Adams and Abby Jimenez! Please note that this title was originally published as Sweet Love and Country Roads.

"Love to Hate You" by Camilla Isley totally swept me off my feet! It's a super cute enemies-to-lovers romance set in this charming small town that had me grinning from ear to ear. And get this, it's actually part of a larger series, but I had no clue until after I finished it! So, you can totally read it as a standalone without feeling lost.
The characters are a riot! Their banter and chemistry are like fireworks, and I couldn't get enough of their journey from hating each other to falling head over heels. It's just the kind of cute romance that makes you all warm and fuzzy inside.
Now, I've gotta be honest - I was totally rooting for some steamy scenes, but things faded to black. Bummer! But hey, the story was so charming that I kinda forgave it for that.
The small-town setting is perfect, making the whole thing feel even cozier. And Camilla Isley's writing style is so easy to dive into; I couldn't put the book down once I started.
Seriously, whether you're familiar with the series or totally new to Camilla Isley's books like I was, "Love to Hate You" is a heartwarming and entertaining read that's worth every minute. It'll leave you smiling and maybe even craving more small-town romances.

You’re looking for an easy romance read? Well this is it. I devoured this in 2 days which is unheard of for me.
Sam moved to Emerald Creek due to production issues with her latest movie. Upon arrival, her and her assistant get stuck on a dirt road when it’s blocked by a cow (long love queen Betsy) and in comes Travis to the rescue.. the rest I’m sure you can figure out.
This completely melted my frozen heart with some of the most adorable moments I’ve read in a long time, paired with witty banter between our two main characters.
It is fade to black, so if you’re a spicy queen like me don’t go in thinking you’re gonna get that complete fix you’re looking for, but it doesn’t make this any less enjoyable to read.
It’s official. I’m now in my cowboy era (even if Travis was only a part time cowboy).
Thank you NetGalley and Boldwood Books for the arc!
