This book had no build up what so ever. It was so fast past the characters didn't even had the time to grow or anything. they were childhood sweethearts, broke up for a reason I don't even remember. he left town for sport carrierre. moved back after 10 years and within 2 days all was forgiven and they lived happeily ever after. uhm no. I need build up, yearning between characters. I should have DNF'd this book honestly

I can't believe we have the last book of this series and that were leaving Kentucky Rome. I have loved every book in this series.
in this book we finally get to read about James and Madison. Madison went to New-York for a culinary school to become a succesfull chef. and after chasing this for years all she has to show is that her confidence is shattered and she really want a new start of if she is truly honest to come home. and even though coming home wasnt really the plan, when an offer she coudn't refuse came along that was right in her home town, she coudn't resist coming home. But there is one catch with this offer, the offer came from James Huxley, her brother's best friend and the last person she wants to work for.
Even though this one is not my favorite one of the series I did still love this so much. it's an easy 5 star for me. the only thing i would have loved to have a little more is one final last hurray with the entire family/group. I have loved madison and James since the moment we've met them and i couldn't be more excited that we finally got their book. I loved the chemistry between the characters. this book was about their personal growed just as much as it was about the love those too have for each other. they each had their own problems and they helped each other grow. I'm sad to leave this world and will be re-reading this entire series for sure
Thank you to Ballentine, Dell and netgalley for the Arc of this amazing book

This one is my least favorite book of this series. i didn't like where this was going and i would've loved to see more of thomas's story line than the storyline we were following. there we more people i would have loved to see more about. the books wasn't bad just less my cup of tea I guess

I started this december book last year but put it away to read christmas books. But i'm so glad that i picked it back up. I really liked this, I didn't really know where the story would be going and coming closer to the end it almost started to feel like a standalone while knowing it is the first book in the series. but with the last chapter i think i know what the next book will be about. there are some things left unfinished which i'm quite curious about how those will proceed, and i have a feeling we still have a lot more to learn about the world this book takes place in.

I liked this one a lot more than the first book in the series. This one had more of an intriguing storyline for me. i had a great time listening to this book, still had some trouble remembering all the names but there are so many haha. curious to see where next and last book of this series is about!

This book is filled with lots of lies and plots. And even when you think you figured it all out. You found out you really didn’t. I had a lot of fun listening to this book. It kept my attention and I didn’t want to stop listening. Finished it in one day.

I Loved this book. I fell in love with all the characters almost instantly. I’m really sucker for a good small town romance and this have 100% perfect small town vibes. It’s a really long book but its definitely worth it. I can’t wait to read the next books of this series. We already met all the character that the next books are about and i love them all🥰

I took me a little time to get into the story and in the beginning I got confused but all the names. But once I got into the story I really enjoyed it, curious about the next bookish the series.

I want to thank Avon and Harper Voyager and Netgalley for this arc!
In this book you’ll find: Character growd Small town Found family Fake dating Childhood friend to high school rivals to lovers
Both these character had there own struggles which they we trying to figure out and fix themself. This struggles were realistic and well written.
I loved these characters together they both fought there feeling for each other didn’t want to acknowledge them. But they were obviously in love with each other from the beginning. I liked how the family was secretly and subtly pushing them together and have been trying for years. The pacing of the story was good and worked really well. Overall a really good book.
The only things that really annoyed me throughout the book is the I don’t know how many times mentioned freckle obsession the mmc had from the fmc.
