I liked the first chapter and the very very end the most. I don't quite like Geralt and Yennefer together for too long, they start acting like children. This one's politics and battle heavy, I didn't understand much of the former, hated some of the horrors of the latter. This is why I was going to give 3 stars, but then realized this is what I signed up for and it was actually executed (!) well as what it was supposed to be. Yennefer and Ciri's relationship was interesting though not quite wholesome. Also someone just please collect this child and keep her safe ffs how hard can it be.
