I actually really liked this because I love horses and the drama had me on the edge of my seat! I don’t really like any of these characters because they are all unlikable. Well, maybe the Parker sisters are okay? Maple was just a 13 year old girl just trying to please her mother and have friends. You could say that her sister Piper just wanted her own path. She just didn’t want to do exactly what her mother wanted her to do.
The mothers in this book really were something. They wanted their daughters to be the best and have the best.
I don’t really think this is much of a thriller, but it’s got some mystery to it. In the end, the killer and the body that was found really wasn’t a shock to me. Did I expect it, not really. Therefore, I’m happy to not find it too predictable. I do wish there was a twist, but I do like what eventually happens in the end.
3.5 stars but I rate this book closer to a 3 on here.
Yes, I definitely recommend this book if you’re into horses and rich people drama.
