I don't even know where to start aside from saying to truly check out the TW/CW provided or message Kitty or their team to discuss the context as they are always happy to help. My Little Girl (MLG) touches on some very real and devastating topics and also has some darker and potentially triggering themes.
Ava and Killian are well-written and developed characters and I mean that to my absolute core. Ava is a plus-sized bad@ss who endures a lot but she does not give up. The tension and chemistry runs deep and you get to watch them love in all the right ways, but that does not mean that it will be easy.
Killian had a quirky energy in the best possible way and it added a silver fox shine to even the hardest of situations. That being said I found this story to be relatable in many ways and while that can occasionally take me to a dark spot with my mental health I truly feel raw and a little bit more healed. I didn't expect it going in but Kitty has written this story and the topics with love and respect.
To further discuss why I am giving this an unapologetic 5 stars is because Kitty not only showed us their vulnerable side with this writing but also showed us the highs and lows of both Ava and Killian. Neither is flawless and neither is expected to be or forced to 'change'. They heal and love as one in their own dark 'Kitty' way.
The spice is spice-ing and I am sorry but THE CPR SCENE AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
5/5 and would definitely recommend this to you all as long as the triggers are ok with you!

This was my first Kitty Rose book and I really really enjoyed it.
It is a DARK romance so please do check the TW before you dive into this amazing book. It’s dark and tackles some heavy topics, so prepare yourself.
Kitty really did capture my attention from the very first page right up till the last page.
I loved both the main characters and how with each page you follow their relationship go through ups and downs. Their relationship was not easy at all but watching them figure it out together and seeing it blossom and end on a beautiful note was amazing
It was nice to see how kitty portrayed the FMC and her struggles in life and it made me really connect with the character
I really really enjoyed this book and would really recommend it!
