I read this book like my life depended on it, because I couldn't resist the tension, the plot, and the drama. Geneva has a fabulous balance of world building and adventure, not overwhelming, and it was easy to follow. I have to say that Lach is probably one of my new fave book boyfriends and I cannot wait for book 2! I have so many questions and that cliffhanger?! Aaaaaaagh I need more. The banter, wit, and sass in this book is also top tier. El's scales: Plot: 4.5/5 Characters: 4.5/5 Spice: 2.5 š¶ļø Overall: 4.5 ā

I don't want to give spoilers, but that cliffhanger gutted me and I can't wait for Never Mine (book 2) to be released

Um⦠MONIQUE SHEPHERD HOW DARE YOU?! š³š©ššš I am so glad I got to ARC read this, and I hope anyone reading is ready for a filter free review of this masterpiece. Most importantly if you are considering reading Nevermore or the Never Never Duet, please check the CW/TW to make sure it is a safe read for you. I inhaled this ARC in one sitting, and I was NOT ready for that cliffhanger. Monique has a certain way of writing raw, gutting, and authentic scenes that you canāt help but feel as if youāre there in real life. Throughout this read I told my Dominant to go have a nap so I could finish reading, and I donāt regret it. As far as the plot goes it is there, and again ends on a cliffy. But there is also a great balance of backstory & personal growth/events for the characters. Deirdre has two good friends, Gabe, and Claire, both strong personalities that you canāt help but love. Deirdre is broken but strong, witty, bratty, and quite relatable. Professor McKnight is strong but broken, confident, and protective. Plus, he knows EXACTLY what to say⦠IYKYK! Loved this read, can't wait for book 2, and I desperately need more of the Professor & Deirdreās journey. Elās Ratings Characters: 5/5 Spice: 4/5 (Spicy in all of the best ways!!!) Overall: 5/5

Inhaled ā This was a great read. It is well written in a way that (for me) lets you escape into the book. Who doesn't love a dark bullymance? The FMC has physical and emotional scars, and she's a fierce individual with a tragic backstory. The MMC is hot, obsessive, possessive, demanding, Alpha energy. He'd do anything for the FMC, but at the same time is one of her greatest pains. Isn't that what love is though, a beautiful kind of pain? I can't wait to read the next book and see what's to come. Check the TW on the author's site for sure as this is dark and has content that may not be suitable for everyone. š¤ Plot: 4.5/5 Characters: 4.5/5 Spice: 4/5š¶ļø (inappropriate use of a š„ and thorough scenes) Overall: 4.5 ā

If you're looking for a duet to hook you, hurt you, and heal you all at once let this be the one! Stacy's pain, character, and growth throughout the duet is relatable and heartbreaking, but she never gives up. It is a RH/Poly romance and the men are amazing, each with a unique voice and great depth, and they'd do ANYTHING for her. The pacing is great and it'll keep you captivated. This one is really hard to review without giving spoilers, so I would definitely recommend it. It's not exactly dark (to me at least) but does have darker/heavier topics so please keep that in mind. CW: pregnancy, loss of parent, bullying, mentions of su1c1de, mention of a h@nging, car accident flashback, and various other situations that make this duet well rounded! Characters: 5/5 Plot: 4.5/5 Spice: 4/5 Overall: 5ā

I really enjoyed the tension in this read, the vulnerability, the spice, and the representation for mobility aids. This was my first read by Neva and I loved it as a short read!

Post from the Pixel Perfect Pack forum
I just wanted to come here and kick off this forum by talking about one of my comfort reads, Pixel Perfect Pack by Sabrina Bloom. I'm going to keep it vague in hopes to avoid spoilers. Throughout the storyline there's just enough plot, and just enough fluff to keep you kicking your feet and blushing up a storm. There are so many elements that I absolutely loved about this book but the chronic disability rep made my heart absolutely glow. I have to say this was such a great balance. It's not often that I hear about an FMC that's the same as me, when nothing is safe in their immediate area when they're going through a flare-up. Not technology, not furniture, not even myself. Sabrina nailed that and the TLC given from the men? Yes please. If you're looking for a relatable read I would highly recommend this one.
