I had no idea where to start with reading classics, so these are all the books/tips I received from fellow PB members. I hope these can help other as well

1. Some books have podcasts or to go with it, you can listen alongside the book. (Dracula)
2. Read abridged versions of the books (Frankenstein)
3. The Hardcore literature club on yt has some great tips
4. Start with younger classics and work your way backwards.
5. Look at the original genre of the book.
6. For Shakespeare, the website No Fear Shakespeare makes the text a more modernized version
7. Sometimes having background information on the author and the time can help you understand certain parts of the book more

This is a list of books that at least one person thinks you should read. A book that, no matter who you are, is worth giving a try. Out there in the world, this is someone's favourite book. They wish absolutely everyone they know would sit down and read it. Will you give any of these a chance? The books chosen for this list are members of the community, as well as my coworkers at the bookstore I work at.
