Introduction to classics
I had no idea where to start with reading classics, so these are all the books/tips I received from fellow PB members. I hope these can help other as well
- Some books have podcasts or to go with it, you can listen alongside the book. (Dracula)
- Read abridged versions of the books (Frankenstein)
- The Hardcore literature club on yt has some great tips
- Start with younger classics and work your way backwards.
- Look at the original genre of the book.
- For Shakespeare, the website No Fear Shakespeare makes the text a more modernized version
- Sometimes having background information on the author and the time can help you understand certain parts of the book more
