Basically, a huge list of every book I ever heard features sapphic characters.

I have not read all of these, so I cannot be sure of the amount of the time on page of the sapphic characters or of the quality of the books.

Some of these I do not plan to read at all, since they are not my style. If you feel like a book doesn't belong here, let me know.

Intersectionality, baby! Disability includes many conditions, including - but not limited to - physical disabilities, chronic illnesses, psychiatric disabilities, sensory disabilities, and neurodivergence.

Book with main characters that are disabled. Both physical and mental included. Eg chronic/terminal illness, physical disabilities, mental illness, neurodivergance, addiction, injury and injury recovery, symptoms causing health issues etc. Doesn't have to be a diagnosed condition. Not necessarily by authors with shared experiences. Books any be any genre. Added only 1st book of series unless there are different characters.

July is Disability Pride Month! Here's a big pile of books with disabled characters. Happy International Women's Day! Have a huge pile of our favorite books starring queer women (fiction and non-fiction!). Mostly children, middle grade, and ya books with autism representation. Strongly featuring autistic characters that aren’t only young white boys. It’s also strongly concentrated on own voices works, as much as possible, although that’s private information if the authors do not choose want to share publicly.

Inspired by the song "Hercules" by Livingston! :) These are books with characters that realized they couldn't be the "Hercules" or the strong and/or "perfect" person that everyone, even themselves, wanted them to be. My interpretation includes, but isn't limited to: breaking societal standards, coming out as lgbtq+, fighting being misunderstood by family and friends, both external and internal pressure to be the best, and the battle of physical and mental illness.
