I have such mixed feelings about this series. Because in my mind, I might have liked this more than the other two? There were parts where I was definitely really engaged, but then there were also parts where I was very bored. I actually had such a hard time finding any motivation to read this that I had to finish the last 30% on audio.

It wasn't that I thought it was BAD, I really did. I think maybe I'm just not interested in reading about happy couples? Like, book one they get together pretty quickly, and since then, they are UNSHAKABLE.

There were absolutely NO interpersonal struggles with this couple. They had no struggles. They agreed on basically everything, they never fought, they literally had ZERO problems. Every conflict came from outside the relationship. It's like, you can still be in a healthy relationship and fight over stuff. Or disagree. But no, Maximoff and Farrow legit have NO RELATIONSHIP STRUGGLES. NONE. WHATSOEVER. And so after three books of that, I just thought it was pretty boring. I might have liked them each more if I didn't binge them.

The book was still cute, and I'm still interested in the series. (Where is that Jack/Oscar book at?? Bc Oscar is my FAVE.) I'm definitely intrigued by Jane and Thatcher as well, but I'm giving myself a break before diving back into this series, so hopefully I'll be more excited and it won't feel like such a chore to get through.
