Pack Smooth has a nice ring to it. Alpha and Omega, I can do both. With my father’s company now in my care, the world is about to witness the Omega Revolution. If I must be the first to prove all the naysayers wrong, then I will do it with my head held high and in style. Someone wants to silence me, destroy everything my father built, his legacy, my dream. Everything came crashing down around me the day Smooth Bourbon burned, and I almost died right along with it. The deadline to mate with my pack looms. Someone will stop at nothing to stand in my way to achieve my goal. Apart from my pack I don’t know who I can trust. I am swimming in shark infested waters with unknown enemies all around me. I am determined to fight for the life I want. I will not go quietly. With my four Alphas beside me I will have my happily ever after, no matter what. They may call me Omega, but I am an Alpha at heart. Going Down Smooth is a Why Choose Omegaverse Novel. This book contains adult content and is not suitable for readers under the age of 18. This is part two and the final book in this duet.

This was a satisfying conclusion to Mercy's story. I will always appreciate a Black woman getting the love she deserves and the way Knight, Lox, Trey, and Nate treat Mercy was so fun to read and I will never get over them calling her their Alpha, it was honestly an amazing addition to their relationship that added an amazing layer of depth to their pack dynamic. Despite how much I like the story I really struggled with the execution in some aspects. It felt like there were so many ideas and none of them were fully fleshed out which left me craving more. I feel this especially when it comes to Freeya and her pack. I am aware that there is another book that follows her story (trust I'll be reading that) but I still can't help but feel that her pack and their 'bond' was introduced very abruptly and without much context that it feels almost empty. I am so intrigued by the whole true mate thing and I really hope it gets expanded on in her book because "she's the only one who can give Omari what he wants, a family" (paraphrasing) is just not good enough for me.
Felt a bit rushed at the end and I would’ve liked to see more healing on page but overall this duet is fantastic.
