A bombshell bookworm. A chronic Casanova. And a lesson in chemistry too scandalous for school. When Hanna Bergstrom receives a lecture from her overprotective brother about neglecting her social life and burying herself in grad school, she’s determined to tackle his implied assignment: get out, make friends, start dating. And who better to turn her into the sultry siren every man wants than her brother’s gorgeous best friend, Will Sumner, venture capitalist and unapologetic playboy? Will takes risks for a living, but he’s skeptical about this challenge of Hanna’s…until the wild night his innocently seductive pupil tempts him into bed- and teaches him a thing or two about being with a woman he can’t forget. Now that Hanna’s discovered the power of her own sex appeal, it’s up to Will to prove he’s the only man she’ll ever need.

definitely my least favorite of these so far. honestly I found the characters to be pretty annoying. a lot of this story hinges on miscommunication and both people being too scared to say what they want. usually the brothers best friend trope is cute but I just found this story to be really boring
Another enjoyable read from these authors. Felt like the guy fell for the girl a little fast, but I think that the "confusion" part was done really well...
An over-used trope in romance (at least it seems to me, maybe it's been my selection) is when one or more character(s) either don't tell a whole truth or withhold some information and this causes all the tension and problems, and you as the reader are just so frustrated because if everyone was just honest or the one tiny bit of information was officially clarified then ALL of the problems would be solved. Beautiful Player did a sort of variation on this trope, where both parties thought they knew what the other person wanted to hear and also when they actually said what they meant/felt they thought they were being clear even though they weren't. Anyway, this was done well and believably.
Enjoyable book, the build-up and sexual tension were paced well.
