Thank you Netgalley and HighBridge Audio for this audiobook. This book follows the story of Lauren Spierer, a college student who disappeared after a night of partying. I enjoyed the audiobook and found it easy to follow. The narrator fit so much that I thought he was the author. The narrator helped to get me into the story quickly. I wish that the interview at the end could have been actually answered with the authors voice. I feel like it would have made it feel more genuine. As far as the story goes, it was set up as many 20/20 episodes are. It moves between what happens in the past to what is happening in current times. You get a feel for what Lauren's life was like especially since the author was so close to the story. This is a heartbreaking to hear about Lauren's disappearance. I find it hard to review books like this since it is someone's life and I never want to come through as being insensitive. I am rating the audiobook and not the quality of the story.

This book had a few twist and turns that left you trying to figure out how they got out of this circumstance. Overall I thought it was an entertaining read but not one of the best I have read. The thing that I loved about the book and that was explained in the back of my copy was it's links to many fairy tales. After reading all of the fairy tales that were incorporated into the book the book became more and more interesting. I will give the author her props for going out of her way to make a book link to many others in such a smooth way.

I truly loved this book wether it was the fact that I had no idea until the end what the novel was leading up to or the connection I felt to the characters. I love that it leaves you with questions that I frankly don't want answered. Agustus Waters was a refreshing twist to the story. I loved everything about the book!
