Superman For People Who Don't Like Superman Comics
Unless he's a member of a team or a bit player, I am usually bored by Superman books. He's too powerful, which makes very few believable opponents for him. This is a list of books that he features in that I've been interested enough to read more than once. Most of them are considered non-canon.

Best Young Adult Books To Read
I love YA. It can suck pretty bad when the books try to copy each other. But when some of those gems pop up...wowza! Who knew you could tell such a hard-hitting story without having to resort to 1,000 pages & sex?

Standalone Superhero Comics
Don't have time to read 500 X-Men books, or a billion Bat-related books? Here's a list of books you can read without an atlas for backstories. Start at the beginning, get to the end, and if you want more...awesome. If not? You just read a whole complete story. Most of these books examine tropes and are not just Strong White Guy beats up disadvantaged humans or unrelatable aliens.
