LOVED IT.
Again, many many characters and it's a long epic over time. There's lots of politics (of history) that I am not knowledgeable about, so sometimes I skimmed over those paragraphs to get to the juicy bits, haha.
In this sequel, similarly to the first, it was a slow start but by about halfway through I couldn't put it down!
I bet in a few years I will re-read this series and be able to follow a lot more of the plot because I will be better able to understand the reasoning behind character choices when I have an idea of what's coming.
