Recs if you like Well, Actually...

Because we‘d all kneel for a cute nerd (or bespectacled hottie in general) 🥵📚 Collection of romance books where the MMC wears glasses and looks fabulously hot in them 😍 Bonus points if there is a scene where he takes them off to kiss his partner harder 🔥🌶️ Recommendations are always very much welcome (also I haven‘t read every single book on here, so please feel free to correct me if one doesn‘t fit)

do you hate unnecessary heartache from couples deciding against all reason to breakup just to get back together two pages later? you're in the right place! all these books are safe from the third act breakup trope, but that doesn't mean they don't have angst and conflict!

greatly inspired by @beanchambers on tiktok

feel free to suggest books in the comments!

As a tall-ish girl myself, every time I come across an FMC who is described as tiny, I yearn a bit more for some tall FMC representation — we can be love interests too! 🥹😍 So I made this list of (mostly romance and fantasy) books with a tall FMC. Whether she is taller than her partner, or they are somehow EVEN TALLER than her, all is welcome here 🫶

I haven’t read every single book on this list, so please correct me if I am wrong somewhere. More book recs super appreciated!!! 🤍

Romance books to read for the aesthetic (usually cartoon covers because I’m trash for character art)

self explanatory

I love reading romances between men and women where one or both of the characters are bi because it shows the potential of bi people to fall in love with any gender, if that makes sense. So often bi people in “straight” relationships don’t get clocked as LGBTQ+ and I like seeing how they make a “straight” relationship queer. It’s also nice to read about LGBTQ+ outside of achillian and sapphic stories and spaces. I’m always on the hunt for more.

You know what this is

Romance books with (at least) 2 bisexual main characters.

This pride month I want to highlight an amazing lesbian artist and illustrator Jenifer Prince! She’s one of my favorites and she creates amazing sapphic artwork; I have a few of her prints hanging up and they are gorgeous! In the last few years she has started illustrating book covers as well! Most of the covers are for sapphic stories, but I have included the ones that are not, as I want to highlight all of the covers she’s illustrated! Anyway, happy pride!!! 🧡🤍🩷

finding love in a big city can be just as fun as finding love in a small town! I love small town romances, but as a girl from a big city, I want to give big city romances their time to shine ✨

here’s a list of books where our main characters live in a big city and fall in love there. cities can be real (London, Paris, New York, LA, Tokyo, etc.) or fictional (Minas Tirith, King’s Landing, Gotham, Bon Temps, etc.)!

as always, taking suggestions!!

when they're having such a good time they finish before they even really start.

this list is for books where one of the main characters (usually him)... arrive unexpectedly without penetration - bonus points if pants are still on.

kind of struggling with books where the MC's instantly get together or hook up, so here are some book recs where the couple waits until at least 50% of the book to get together

romance book heroes that are gentle, shy or nerdy in every sub-genre

For when love didn’t work out the first time, but maybe… it deserves another shot. Perfect if you love emotional, swoony, sometimes painful but oh-so-worth-it romances.

Romance novels where the MCs are an MF couple that is straight-presenting, but one or both is/are queer

Yes. It’s exactly what you think it is. Book recs where the MMC comes in his pants

Romance novels where the hero... arrives… in his pants (usually while eating). If you know of other books, please share in the comments!
